Bart Brandsma

Bart Brandsma (1967) is Europe’s number one polarisation-expert, consultant and trainer. He studied social and political philosophy, started off his carreer as a journalist for written press and television. He published several books, translated in multiple languages, one of them Polarisation, understanding the dynamics of us versus them. He works worldwide, from Cambodia, Lebanon to Congo, in Europe from Helsinki to Barcelona, from Belfast to Kiyiv. He developed a Polarisation Framework that is providing professionals with a practical – hands on – tool to develop polarisation strategy and depolarising options. His company Inside Polarisation VOF is founded to deliver means and tools to professionals who need to show strong leadership in the challenges that us- them-thinking poses in our time.
